Fuck False Pride

Im so sick of it...Give me a break? The National Peurto Rican Day Parade? Oh? And really it's the 55th Annual? What a crock of shit! So I just wikipedia for explanationa of some sort to find a bs page on the parade's website...some crap about the first parade in 1958 "April 13th" its says (just below "The second sunday of every June till the end of time"-as if it's always been...) A totally differnt name, diffenrent date, all lies and exaggerations...Typical! Lies! False pride only inspires procreation of more subhuman shapes of cellulite ridden rippoff of what is most garish and tacky about american culture...Columbus Day parade is just as stupid...Irish is only acceptable because they made it popular to thepoint everyone wants to create another 501c non prof...enough!!!! Even the Irish parade was destroyed when they stopped people from the public drunkness fun! That was what was fun about it until it went too far...so it evolves...but why cant peope see things for what they are....

1988(?) with Jeanne Anzalone the middle school language teacher in Clinton's new town...I watched the "National" Puerto Rican Day parade on 5th Avenue in the late 80s. We were hysterically laughing. I have photos somewhere. It was adorable becaus eit was ONE float and then 2 guys riding donkey's with pooper scooper's cleaning up after them...it was like the opening of a Hannah Barbera Cartoon...I shot 2  photos! We cheered them on...it made my day. Like I said adorable was the word...but who's going to tell me that went on for 25 years before that? Bullshit!!! That was probably the FIRST one we saw! So why the lies? We also have to pretend that tacky isnt tacky? Or risk arrest for verbal "hate" crime? Wtf is going on. Oh thats right in 2007 it became a vehicle, an excuse for "first couples" of tacky puerto rican hip wiggling like J-Lo and Gloria to promote their "role modelships".....puke...."Hey kids!
