The Far Reaching Business of Deliberately Crafted Misinformation

I called the local New Station in Yonkers responsible for covering the Kenneth Chamberlain case to ask if they knew the names of the White Plains police officers involved. They did not. But the news desk guy was nice enough to put me on hold for about 5 minutes to find out. After I told him that I had the names of 3 of them, Carelli, Hart and Sgt Fratel and wanted to find out the name of the African American cop on the scene, suggested he would be a fantastic interview worthy of Edward R Murrow Awards etc...but the guy was so diconnected he came back to the phoen and said "The guy sname is Anthony Carelli."...They dont do theyre job these reporters.

Is this misinformation about the Chamberlain story owned by Rupert Murdoch? They're obviously producing News for local media in White Plains also:
